Colour is an important factor? How does the cut on the stones? Solitaire is a best or is a ring with side stones a better choice?

The following section contains all the information you need to carefully choose a quality diamond. Please note the following from Internet video renowned educational and research institution GIA (Gemological Institute of America), such as diamonds are made professionally sorted for color, clarity, cut and carat weight (Also known as 4C *):

Now you have learned about the "four Cs" of diamond grading, let's look at each of these factors in detail: CUT
The first and most important thing to consider when choosing a Diamond-cut, the look is. Not to be confused with "shape" are confused (ie round, square, oval, etc.), determined cut diamonds brilliance. A rough diamond is sanded and polished until the best look is achieved. The ideal cut is one that reflects the maximum amount of light entering the diamond is and cause of that brilliant sparkle Diamonds are known. This section is rare, and the cost of a diamond with an ideal cut will be much higher. Some people prefer a larger diamond, regardless of Cut buy. Other shoppers may just one diamond with the best colors. These different factors explain in part why not all diamonds are a ideal cut. Many gemologists consider cut the most important diamond characteristic because even if a diamond has perfect color and clarity, a diamond with a poor Section have dulled brilliance. The width and depth have the greatest impact on how the light in the diamond, and how it exits in the form of brilliance. Each facet should be carefully be cut together with good symmetry and polish of the diamond.
When a diamond is cut ..
Too Deep: Light escapes out the top entry of Sides causing the diamond to appear dark and dull.
Too Shallow: Light lost input from the top of the ground which lose the diamonds brilliance.
Ideal: The light is directly enter the diamond from above and bounce back from every facet effectively within the diamond again through the top creating a brilliant shimmering effect.
Consider the different cut level:
Ideal Cut: Maximum light reflection, superior proportions, presents the true beauty of a diamond, very rarely, expensive.
Excellent Cut: Higher quality with great symmetry and reflection of light, cut more available than ideal and less expensive.
Very good cut: The most common cut, slightly less light then reflects the EX (Excellent) Cut, fair prices.
Fair Cut: A deeper level than the VG (Very Good) Cut, slightly below average Brightness, cheapest cut.
Poor Cut: These diamonds are highly undesirable because of its dark appearance and low value.
