Carat Round

I found a 3.5 carat,round cut,super clear diamond.No joke.What should I do with it???

I wonder if it is a real diamong. Most diamonds do have imperfections, and one of that size should have at least a couple of inclusions in it (small black pieces of carbon or coal looking filaments). If it is completely clear, it is probably fake.

If it is real, it may be worth around 15k to 35k depending on quality and cut. You wont get that much, but that is how much a place would sell you a similar 3.5 carat diamond. You could expect to get about 1/4 the price unless you get it CGI certified, which would cost a couple hundred bucks, but increase what you could sell it for by a lot. If It was previously CGI certified, the diamond may have an inscription on it which would also give you a clue as to who may be the owner. You may get a pretty good reward for returning it rather than what you would get from trying to sell it to a pawnshop or shady jeweller.
