Asscher cut in a princess setting?
My fiance and I select an immitation diamond for my engagement ring. Its a 1.5 carat Princess stone in a four-prong setting, the stone was scratched, so that we have to replace it. I wonder how hard it is with a princess cut stone Asscher would replace. It would be difficult / expensive to have the jeweler cut rework the setting for an Asscher?
As long as both of the same millimeter diamonds Measurements have then it should be fine, because both pieces are square. Measurements should not be more than 2-3 tenths of a millimeter off the ring or a new Need fixing.
