Wedding Bands San Francisco
What is the typical price for a DJ and/or band for a wedding?
I live in San Francisco and am wondering the average cost for hiring a band (4-5 piece band) or DJ for a wedding reception, probably 4 hours.
It depends on the time of year. They tend to charge more in the busy months (holidays, June, Valentines Day). I have paid $800 up for DJs for company holiday parties and $1200 for a 4 piece band.
You can ask other friends who they have used and also check craigslist
